These monologues were disturbing. However, they serve a good purpose. I believe that purpose is to help talk about molestation and the prevention of sexual harassment among our youth. Molestation shouldn't be hush hush, a "dirty secret" or taboo topic, but something that we teach our children to talk about for their protection and healing. Molestation monologues can be used as a tool to teach and as a conversation starter between adults and adolescents.

This is a good book to start a dialogue between parents and their dating kids. Teenage girls need to learn how to recognize and deal with abuse from peers and adults as well as know that they are not alone! This book makes parents consider things that they would rather not, but it is necessary!
