About the Author

Debbie Simeral wrote this book over a span of 40 years. Her essays and poems were composed and woven between raising four children, and completing her Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration and Social Work.

At age 50, Debbie decided to change her career in order to work with her hands to serve people, the earth, and animals. She obtained her professional license and certification to work as a massage therapist, and equine and canine massage therapist. Debbie is now retired, living in Central Oregon with her husband Gordon, and continues to listen and write.
