Kimberly Smith celebrates the idea that a parent is a child's first and most influential teacher who possesses the gift to spark a child's life-long passion to read at an early age.

Miss Kimberly graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English and a Minor in Education from Washington and Jefferson College and taught high school English until the birth of her first child. When she returned to education, Miss Kimberly chose a different route, as her enjoyment and connection to younger children led her into the field of early childhood education. She has taught at the preschool level for the last several years.
