About the Author

Brittany Garrett received her MA in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago's Program for Writers. Her words have been published in the American Book Review, NewCity, Rainbowed Magazine, Wingless Dreamer, Write City Magazine, and a curious number of architectural publications. Brittany's paintings focus on the concepts of manmade, geometric shapes interacting with natural, organic landscapes and forms. Her first book, whispers, was a limited print of poetry, paintings, and photography. She lives in Chicago with her abundance of plants and cats.
