About the Author

About The Author
Michael Bond is the author of all the books about Paddington Bear. His first book, A Bear Called Paddington, was published in 1958. In 1997, he was awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to children’s literature. In 2007, he was made an honorary doctor of letters by Reading University. Paddington’s creator is still writing and lives in London, England, not far from Paddington Station, where it all began.


Stephen Fry is a celebrated actor, novelist, journalist, presenter, intellectual, wit, and winner of several award for narration. He has produced four novels and two volumes of autobiography and has written for radio shows and television. His television credits include Jeeves and Wooster and Blackadder, and he hosted the BBC TV series QI.


Jim Broadbent is an AudioFile Earphones Award–winning narrator and an Academy Award-winning film,
television, and theater actor known for his work with Mike Leigh, Woody Allen, and Terry Gilliam. His film credits include Topsy-Turvy, Iris and Moulin Rouge. He has won many awards for his roles in television and film including the BAFTA, Academy Award, and Golden Globe. He has received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award, Grammy Award, and several
Emmy Awards.
