More Than A Wish: My Life and Stories from the Make-A-Wish Foundation:
Being a kid is an important time in life. It's the start of your development into who you will become as an adult. One could describe your years as a kid, as the seed of life. Once that seed is planted, then it's time to water the seed and for the seed/kid to grow as a teenager. For Cory Metz his seed was planted with no problems.

His issues came with the way his seed grew as a teenager. Cory Metz was different compared to the other seeds/teenagers. He saw those other seeds/teenagers grow as normal plants, while he grew differently. And he lost part of who he could have become because of his difference. Sure parts of him didn't grow, but his seed grew in a different form. One that he didn't expect.

Are you intrigued? That's all I'm going to give you in the description. I feel like if I tell you anymore, that'll spoil what you read in the book. I don't believe in spoilers. It ruins your opportunity to be surprised by what you read.

All I'll say is 100% of the profits from this book go to the Make-A-Wish Connecticut.

About the Author

I am a Make-A-Wish recipient. I am also a wish granter in the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I wrote More Than A Wish with the idea that this book gets in the hands of Make-A-Wish kids. I would hope they read my book and they're inspired to live a life without fear of their illness. I know for me I struggled with that. Enjoy the book.
