About the Author

John D. Jones is a priest at Holy Theophany Orthodox Church in Walworth, Wisconsin, as well as a professor emeritus of philosophy at Marquette University. At present, his principal area of research is compassion and the spiritual life within the Orthodox Christian tradition.
