About the Author

Nora Embury, along with seven siblings, grew up on a small farm in rural farming country between Byron and Gaines, Michigan. Nora has five children, ten grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren. In 1976, Nora pursued a career in nursing, which she continues to work part-time with the elderly population. For many years, Nora has had a passion to write children’s books. Nora became a Christian in October of 2004. She has many interests in sewing, baking, gardening, reading, writing, and spending time with her family. Nora resides near Castle Hayne, North Carolina, with her small dog, Luci.
