About the Author

Annie Bailey is a children’s author and songwriter. She developed her mud pie–making skills at a very young age and now passes this knowledge on to her four sons as they explore the outdoors surrounding their home in rural Idaho. This is her first picture book. Her previous works include the board books 10 Little Tractors10 Little Excavators, and There Is Joy, a children’s album. Visit her online at AnnieBailey.com. Jen Corace is the illustrator of Small World by Ishta Mercurio and Little Pea, Little Hoot, and Little Oink by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, among other books for young readers. She also creates fine art, with a focus on the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Corace lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
