About the Author

EJ MacPhee lives in Tucson AZ and Fort Garland, CO. He has been writing for many years, but only started publishing 10 years ago. Recently he started illustrating his own books.
He and his wife have been married for 57 years, have four children and four grandchildren. His motivation for writing children’s books comes from he and his wife’s experience reading to grandchildren and others.
“It’s so much fun reading children’s books, even at my age. They grow up so fast and they go through the reading stages so quickly that it’s hard to pick a good age to target, so I just write things that are fun for me and hope the child in me comes out.”
