About the Author

BILL CANTERBURY was born in Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard with a degree in applied math. After a stint on Wall Street, he turned to writing for television, as a staff writer on The Simpsons as well as the cult favorite series Pinky & The Brain. He has worked for every major studio and TV network, and his work has been nominated for Emmy and Annie awards. My Dad Is a Unicorn! and My Mom Is a Mermaid! are Bill’s debut children’s books. He lives in Los Angeles.

JEFF HARTER is an illustrator working in books, licensing, greeting cards, editorial, and entertainment. He is also professor and chair of illustration at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He lives in upstate New York with his wife and three daughters.
