Overview

"My Grandfather's Big Farm" is a true story about My Grandfather and Grandmother; and how they operated a farm business for many years after my Grandfather purchased a 100-acre farm in North Carolina. My Mother and her brothers and sisters all worked on the farm, and when I visited the farm during the summer, as a child, my brother, sisters and I also worked on the farm. The many things we did on the farm, we did as a family so I have fond memories of those times. The illustrations in the book are bright and colorful with all the details of farm life. This book provides valuable lessons for young people because it simply shows them what it means to be an entrepreneur, and the results you get when a family works together.
