About the Author


Lester I. Tenney (Ph.D., University of Southern California) (1920-2017) was a survivor of the infamous Bataan Death March. He was a prisoner of war of the Japanese for a total of three and half years. After a brief stint as a high school teach, he entered the insurance business. He worked with the Arizona state legislature in developing a retirement and insurance program for all Arizona State employees. He was also a professor at Arizona State University. He is the author of several books, including The Courage to Remember: PTSD--From Trauma to Triumph (Lester Tenney, 2014), My Hitch in Hell (Potomac Books, 1995), and the co-authored Your Financial Survival Under the Medicaid System (TLC Publishing, 1992).
