Overview

Families can look confusing from the outside looking in, but some times they can look just as confusing from the inside looking out. Fourteen year old Heather McCall learns this on her fourteenth birthday when her older brother James dives in front of a bullet and ends up in a coma. Heather uses the journal James gave her to go back over the past year hoping that every thing will make sense if and when Jame wakes up.

About the Author

Jessica Badrick was born on November 29th 1985. She grew up in East Hampton, Connecticut and currently resides in Colchester, Connecticut with her mother and little brother. Jessica graduate East Hampton High School in 2003. In 2006 she briefly attended Hussian School of Art. Jessica is currently enrolled in the creative writing bachelor�s degree program at Southern New Hampshire University.
Jessica has two published books In Two Deep and its sequel Just Alex. Jess is currently working on an untitled fiction novel. When she is not helping her mom with their home day care or working she likes to lay on her trampoline in her back yard, where she finds inspiration in the peaceful salience for her art work and writing.
