CHAPTER 1

He wakes up early in the morning, ready to start his day. He brushes his teeth, puts on his clothes ready to start his day. Mommy puts on her shoes, grabbing her purse waiting to go to work. Dorain and I take turns lying with Judah in Mommy's bed. And if you fall asleep Judah will sometimes sit on your head. My Brother Judah has autism, but you can't really tell. You only know for sure when he covers his ears and yell. That could be for any reason, no matter the time or season.

When we are all outside playing Dorain and I have to keep a close eye on Judah. If not he would end up running away. I know when Mom is outside when you hear her say ... J-U-D-A-H !!! She never has to say more than that, with one look from Mommy Judah is back like a snap.

Autism does not stop him from living; he just listens and learns differently. Sometimes Judah doesn't listen so well, because he has too much energy. Judah can't eat the same food we eat, because some of those things make it hard for him to sleep.

My Brother Judah has Autism and he looks like every other kid. Until I am in my room or in the living room. Finding myself cleaning up all of the mess that he did.

When I'm doing homework this is when he wants to play with me. Judah just smiles and laughs at Me and Mommy.

Mommy asks Dorain and I to help Judah with his Bath. Bubbles fill the tub as we watch Judah, he smiles and laughs. While Mommy is doing her homework we take him out of the water.
