About the Author

A native of South Philadelphia, PA, Lucille had a previous first Career and is retired as a Federal Investigator in the Compliance Field after a 32 year Career with the U. S. Department of Labor in the Federal Government. In her position she worked with small, medium and large Corporations, their Personnel, Owners and Attorneys. She also worked with the Women's Bureau Agency who develop policies to safeguard the interest of working women and advocates equality and economic security for themselves and their families. Attended Wharton Evening School at the University of Penn and studied Labor Management Relations and EEO courses related to Business Industry; attended Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts and studied voice with a protégé who traveled with Luciano Pavarotti; studied with the finest private voice instructor, that being Russell Faith. Just recently, after five (5) years she has written and completed her new unique book titled, “My Matchless Mother And Me — With Recipes, Music And Memories”. As a New Author, her new book includes her original compositions from “My Matchless Mother” CD and five (5) chapters of pure enjoyment-delicious recipes, romance and music. Self Published, Singer, Composer, Arranger, Producer, Music Publisher and the Executive Producer of her solo CD. Self taught in some of those categories. She is a fresh Composer with a unique blend of contemporary adult sounds which span genres. Her songs on the CD show diversity in music styles and show a variety of styles in her voice to complement her many vocal ranges. Her original compositions are beautifully written and she has a style of her own. Experienced with Sigma Sound Recording Studios in the Voice/Over and Commercial Jingle studio work activities; performed with commercial bands as Lead Singer and played percussion hand instruments while performing live on stage. She is also an educator & lecturer in the field of Music by giving presentations & tips about her experiences in the industry for Music Students at New Hope Academy, Nazareth Academy, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and St. Katharine Drexel Mission Center and Shrine.

Lucille did a Radio Interview on May 6, 2014, with Evan Gold and Deb Goldman from Health, Wealth & Wisdom Radio Show on 1250 AM — WHNZ in Florida. Another radio interview was conducted by Susan Klaus, Radio Host of the Authors Connection Show in Sarasota, Florida and was aired on July 8, 2014... Both Radio Hosts conducted great interviews and wanted to know about Lucille and of course all about her new book.

Career Performance Highlights!

Throughout her career years she worked at charity events and sang at Shows with: Bob Hope, Bobby Vinton, Herb Albert, Rupert Holmes, Robert Goulet, Connie Stevens, Lorenzo Lamas, Doc Gibbs (Emeril Live), Jerry Vale, Tom Snyder, Joey Bishop, Rip Taylor, Danny and the Juniors and Eddie Meka (Laverne & Shirley Show). She sang with the Carmen Dee Orchestra at Trump Plaza Casino and at the Top of the Trop Casino Lounge. Performed “America the Beautiful and The National Anthem” at a Proclamation Ceremony at the Mayor's Office for the Columbus Day Parade and Columbus Day Parade festivity, “Man of the Year” Ceremonial dinner for First President/CEO of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA as well. Also, on several dates sang “The National Anthem” at the Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida. She has contributed, worked and sang at many charity events such as: Leukemia Radio-Thon, United Way, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Super Sunday, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Nursing Homes, White Marsh Country Club Golf Tournament, Frankford Torresdale Country Club and Order Sons of Italy in America. Plus, donated monetary contributions to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, St. Katharine Drexel Shrine Canonization Celebration and also donates too many other charitable organizations. Lucille also makes the time to sing in her parish Choir on Sundays and also is a Cantor for Saturday and Sunday Masses when her schedule allows it.

Lucille performed and produced her Concert at the Keswick Theater accompanied by the Carmen Dee Orchestra and the Vienna Strings. Appeared and sang on the morning TV-10! Show and was interviewed by Ms. Lauren Hart and appeared and sang on The Frank Rizzo Radio/Talk Show. Radio commercials and website ads for her CD were aired on WJJZ Smooth Jazz 106.5 FM and the DELILAH Show on Magic 94.9 FM Radio.

With Lucille recently completing her New Recipe/Memoir Book, she is registered with the Library of Congress Copyright Office. She has membership with: The Sarasota Authors Connection Club; ASCAP (Writer & Publisher areas), NARAS (Voting-The Grammys), AFM and SAG-AFTRA (Voting).
