About the Author

Debra Avara is an Assistant Professor at Amarillo College, Amarillo, Texas. Debra holds two Master of Arts degrees and teaches Sociology and Government classes. Debra started writing Basic Money Management books in 2008. In addition to her classes on campus, she teaches Basic Financial Literacy Seminars around the Panhandle using money from a grant received. Her target audience are the GED, ESL, transitional housing, and a hosts of other non-profit locations!
