About the Author

Calvin Thomas II is a Social Entrepreneur with over 15 years in the aquatics industry. Diving deeper into his passion he launched his first venture in 2020, Dolphin U, a growing start-up learn-to-swim brand with roots beginning in Baltimore. Calvin went to Morgan State University and studied Sociology; born and raised in South Los Angeles, his parents introduced him to the sport of swimming at a young age and continued his path through swim team, lifeguarding and now an educator. He hopes to continue the social mission of teaching the water safety skill to children in all areas through all forms of education.
