About the Author

Chloe M. Gooden was born in the center of southern hospitality, Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Mississippi State University and received her Masters Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was recently engaged to her fiancé Bryan this past summer of 2013. Beyond her authorship, she is the creator and administrator of Her Worth Is Far Above Rubies. She works at UAB in Residence Life and advises the Pinky Promise Ministry at UAB, a group of young women dedicated to living a life of purity until marriage. She feels she is in her God given capacity working with University Students and being able to be in the center of so many young adults who need guidance. Her first love is being a resource and inspiration for those pursuing a celibate life until marriage. It is her passion and goal to expand the support of this community and seek the field of ministry when God's timing permits.
