About the Author

D.M.Rose grew up on a farm near a small historical river town. In her childhood years, she spent her mornings doing homeschool lessons and her afternoons exploring the woods, the creek, and the rest of the farm that her family lives on. Much like Ella, the main character in her book series, she spent countless hours in her favorite tree, thinking, dreaming, and imagining. This real-life tree also has a platform built onto it, making a comfortable place to take in the scenic areas of the farm, breathe in sweet-smelling fresh air, and enjoy watching her horses roam the pastures.
She was inspired to write her first book series to encourage imagination and the spirit of adventuring outdoors. Her books feature strong family values and positive role models who rely on God and each other to solve the challenges that they face.
