Overview

My book is titled On Dark Matter and is a collection of seventy-two poems. I have had a couple of poems published here and there and write poetry as a hobby. My poems are to be considered an extension of my thoughts and are meant to stimulate the reader's thought process. They are in no way intended to portray any particular belief system or lack thereof, but rather are for the entertainment of thought!

About the Author

Leon Scarlett was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica and currently reside in New Jersey U.S.A.

I have been writing poetry for nearly as long as I can remember, but have been doing so only as a hobby. I’ve had a few poems published and I studied fine arts in college. I view poetry as an art form. The only difference is; instead of using paint, palette-knife and brush, words are used to portray the feeling you wish to express.

This is the first book of my anthology. I hope anyone that chooses to read it may enjoy the experience and that my poetry may help your mind become more susceptible to my open process of thought. I hope that you may find my book interesting to say the least! Apart from writing I also enjoy drawing and painting as well as miniature model building too. I am a Father of three and a Grandfather to two amazing grandchildren.
