إليزابيث كوبلر-روس (1926-2004): طبيبة نفسية سويسرية-أميركية، متخصصة في التعامل مع حالات الاحتضار والفَقْد والحِداد. يُنسب إليها نموذج كوبلر-روس الشهير للمراحل الخمسة للأسى، وهي واحدة من أشهر رموز حركة رعاية المحتضرين (Hospice Movement). ديفيد كيسلر (المولود في فبراير 1959): كاتب ومُحاضر عام أمريكي، وخبير بالاحتضار والأسى والرعاية التلطيفية ورعاية المحتضرين. شارك في تأسيس Progressive Nursing Services لرعاية مرضى الإيدز ومشروع Angel Food، كما شارك في تأليف كتابين مع إليزابيث كوبلر-روس. شادي عبد العزيز: طبيب وكاتب ومترجم، نُشرت ترجماته على مدار 10 سنوات في العربي الجديد، وألترا صوت، والقدس العربي وعلى صفحة مخصصة لترجماته بعنوان «هامش للترجمة». وقد ساهم في ترجمة النسخة العربية من موقع Mayo Clinic باعتباره متخصصًا في الترجمة الطبية.
