About the Author

Raised on a 40-acre farm, in the Midwest, my love of animals came early! Whether it was a horse, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, or cats, each animal was named. Some friends and family would be amazed with critters all around me. Butterflies, dragonflies landing on me, squirrels and rabbits being within a few feet without running away. The white-tailed deer named "Grandma" would add: "At first the human lady will have food and water for you then, the next thing you know, she will be taking a walk in the woods with you having a conversation.

The relationship and communications that you can have with the animals brings such joy, a peace within, and more laughs and smiles then you can even imagine. Sometime in your life, when the opportunity is right, you should try it!
