About the Author

Hi - I moved to Spain with my lovely wife Melva (our 14th anniversary as I write this blurb) in September 2000, and have never regretted a day of it. Like the hero of my books (Andrew Michaels) I arrived here pre-retirement age, although in my case it was not through choice, if you want a hint of why, go to my website (link below) and look amongst the photos. A more detailed 'history' of yours truly is also there as well.
Upon arrival in Spain we did the finca (country villa) bit, but after 5 years it proved to much (physically) so we then moved into huge apartment in the centre of Crevillente, which is famous for carpets and shoes (Crevi - not our apartment).
We were also into caravanning (Spain, France & Portugal particularly) but again pain intervened so we had to make some life changing decisions- aided in no small part by the brexit vote in the U.K., so we decided that we had had enough of the good life and returned to the U.K. and so far no regrets.
Thank you for visiting my site.
