I never knew just how right the Bard was until I met my knight in tarnished armor. My husband and I weren't perfect, by any means, but we were perfectly ourselves--for good or for ill.

This is a tale of friendship, true love, high adventure, and grief. It is also an account of real-life events as I remember them. A journey of fifteen years contained in just over one hundred pages.

I hope that our love story may be of some use to you--no matter your chosen walk of life. Please, enjoy.

About the Author

I live in Kansas, where I work as a high school Language Arts teacher. My love of reading and writing came at a young age and has only grown as I entered the adult world. I write for myself, yes, but also because I hope that what I write may help others in some way. I also strive to nurture these skills and ideas in my kids--the students who come daily into my classroom and change yearly in my life. They aren't mine by blood, but they are mine by choice; I only pray that I make a positive impact on them as people.
