Our Way To Heaven
There was a long span of time, around 160,000 years from the creation of Adam and Eve to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ who redeemed us from sins and so many things had happened in between those years. First of all, God had taken out of His breath. His only Son before He created everything, He was His Helper. He had chosen the earth from among the planets in the galaxy He created possibly because of its location from the sun He had revolving around it with other planets. At first, He created big animals like the dinosaurs to inhabit the earth. Then later on He thought of making a man from the soil in His own image and gave it a breath of life Adam. He had taken one of his ribs, after putting him in a deep sleep, and fashioned it into a woman, to give him a partner, Eve. They are put in the Garden of Eden to live where everything was available for survival. Later on, they were driven out of Eden due to their disobedience not to eat the fruit of a tree located in the middle of Eden. Eve took it due to the temptation by the serpent telling her she could be like God. She ate and gave some to Adam.

About the Author

Shirley Cairme-Garcia was a successful psychiatrist for twenty-three years, treating adults and children in New York. The author was born in the Philippines in 1938, the third of seven children. She grew up in a religious family, and her faith grew as she became older.
The author became a medical doctor in 1962. One year later, she married Lamberto Garcia. In order to pursue her dream to become a psychiatrist, she ventured alone to the United States as a rotating intern in Dayton, Ohio, early in their marriage under the Exchange Visitor's Program. Her husband, a customs examiner, preferred to remain in the Philippines. She later returned home, and for the next few years, worked as a part-time school physician, and then opened a private medical practice and a drugstore.
In 1971, with political unrest in the Philippines, Shirley and her husband decided to leave. They traveled to Michigan for her residency training in psychiatry, with their three boys---ages five, three, and one---along with her mother. At that time, the author was unaware she was pregnant. After seven months of training in psychiatry at Pontiac State Hospital, she and members of her family moved to New York to live with her sister. Two weeks later, she gave birth to a baby girl. Soon after, she applied for residency programs. She completed her residency training in adult two years and child psychiatry one year at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn from October 1971 to September 1974 and the second-year part of Child Psychiatry training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in Manhattan from October 1974 to September 1975. She went on to work for New York State as a psychiatrist, full-time at Kinsgboro Psychiatric Center formerly Brooklyn State Hospital, and part-time at Lutheran Medical Center. She retired from Kinsgboro Psychiatric Center in 1996 and then worked full-time at Lutheran Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic till around the year 2000. Meanwhile, her husband has opened his own travel agency and then managed their real estate. Their four children all graduated from college and pursued varied careers. From oldest to youngest, they became a psychiatric nurse, a financial analyst and partner in an investment firm, a pilot, and a financial marketing writer.
