About the Author

Geoff Haynes is a professional master model maker. His interest in railways dates back to his childhood with a traditional clockwork 00 gauge train set. He started making plastic aircraft kits at the age of 10, which was when he first learned to use an airbrush. By the age of 12 he had progressed to building railway models. After a career in both the financial services industry, and later in education, he decided to make his hobby his business in 2015. He builds and paints models to order, but is taking in an increasing number of painting and lining commissions.
