About the Author

Elmely Torres is a young woman based out of New York. This is the first book she has ever written. She decided to write it after one day, when she was spending time with her niece, telling her part of this story as if it were a bed time story. After seeing how much her niece loved hearing her tell the story, she decided to create this book so she could read it to her niece at night. Elmely has always had love for the arts and when this idea came to her, she knew she had to make it happen. She hopes this story reaches other children and they love it as much as Salma does. As for Papi, Elmely and Salma some times drive up to Connecticut to see him together. And who knows, they would even love to bring him along for a book reading or two in the future. We hope you enjoyed our first book.
