Overview

In the first of a four part series, danger-loving Nick Floyd, once a cop, marine, U.S. Army member and Air Force member, is now living a normal life in Seattle. But even Nick can't defend himself from a new threat that ravages his hometown and leaves him broken. Luckily, he is saved by the P.D.A., or Paranormal Defense Agency, the secret government military faction created to stop hostile monsters, mutants, spectral creatures, aliens, and inanimate creatures. Thrown into this new world, Nick tries to cope with his less than welcoming teammates, the arrival of his once deceased girlfriend, and of course, Black Star, the alien Captain Terrestrial's misfit gang of evil mutants including the savage genius Wild Animal, the mischievous and outgoing Singin' Boys, and the reluctantly destructive Big Girl.
