About the Author

Kelly Fradin MD is a pediatrician and mother of two based in NYC. After graduating from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, she completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. For a few years, she worked there as an attending in complex care and an assistant professor of Pediatrics. In pursuit of more time with her kids, she transitioned to a public health role for NYC schools. She is passionate about empowering parents with evidence-based, reassuring advice and advocating for children.
