About the Author

Edwina Britt has successfully raised three girls who have all found their passion. The oldest received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gettysburg College and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently working in the pharmaceutical industry. The middle daughter received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bucknell University and later a Master of Chemistry from Virginia Tech. The youngest is a senior at Elon University’s highly coveted musical theater program.

Mrs. Britt uses her experience raising her three daughters, as a PTA President, Black History Coordinator, Youth Leader, Gifted and Talented Chair, school volunteer and experience in corporate America to create an original book of ideas for summer learning. She has written skits and poems performed in the community. Moreover, she has planned highly successful youth events attended by hundreds showcasing her success with young people. Edwina is ecstatic to be able to share her knowledge with other parents.
