Have you ever really, really, wanted a pet?
Well I heard this story from a vet.
There was a little girl, her name was Pat.
And all she wished for was her very own cat.
She did not care if it was tall.
She did not care if it was small.
She did not care if it was fat.
She only cared, it was a cat.
So, every night before bed, Pat wished and wished, and wished some more.
She would wish until she could wish no more.
Her wish should it dare to come true, would have her holding just one pet, not two.
One day Pat opened the front door, and what did she see?
What indeed, what could it be?
She blinked once, twice, three times more.
Closed the door, then opened it once more.
