Rebecca S. Busch is the President & CEO of Medical Business Associates, Inc. a healthcare consulting, auditing, and forensic services firm. Rebecca has over two hundred publications and presentations and twenty plus years of progressive achievement in the healthcare management industry. She is a registered nurse and holds an MBA. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Healthcare Fellow in Financial Management (FHFMA), a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Life Care Planning Fellow (FIALCP), a Certified Business Manager (CBM), has a Masters Certificate in Case Management (CCM), and holds a certification in Homeland Security (CHS-III). Her recent awards include the 2009 Influential Women in Business Award, the 2010 Enterprising Woman of the Year Award, and the 2011 Chicago United Business Leaders of Color Award.

Rebecca has authored three books: Healthcare Fraud: An Auditing and Detection Guide, Electronic Health Records: An Audit and Internal Control Guide, and Personal Healthcare Portfolio, Your Personal Health and Wellness Record. Her board appointments include: CommunityHealth, Latinos in Information Science & Technology Association (LISTA), Association of Internal Auditors (AHIA) editorial committee, Robert Morris Health Care Administration Program Advisory Board, and she is the Vice President of ACFE Chicago and newsletter editor.
