Overview

Why did I write this book? Answering this question I could say briefly: I wanted to. I wanted to share my views, my vast life experience, and this is my way to express my gratitude and appreciation to the many people who crossed my life – men and women, women in particular, without whom this book would never be possible.

About the Author

One of the first things you notice about Peter Zhelezo when meeting him is that he has a certain sense of power about him. The way he carries himself, the way he shakes your hand and holds your eyes as you talk, even the way he measures his words before speaking. Peter is one of those people that you just know has seen and done things few others have. It’s those experiences that make the man.

After you’ve gotten to know Peter a little, something else becomes clear: his passion. It comes out in a subtler way than that power does, but it’s there, simmering just under the surface. The things in which Peter believes, he believes in them firmly and with every part of himself. His family, his friends and, for these purposes, his writing.

I first met Peter when I was asked to help on a film project, and got to know him better when he then asked for my aid with this book. Working on it, that passion was evident on every page, in every paragraph. His vivid imagination, the way he wrote about love and life and sex and all the experiences that make up a man’s existence, it was all so entertaining, so genuine and personal in tone, it just made me smile. The work that had gone into it, the way he clearly slaved over every word and sweated over each character and every choice and word of dialogue, was impressive and inspiring.

Peter clearly loves what he does. The telling of stories comes naturally to him, in a way it doesn’t for most. A lot of people think they can write, that they can sit down and actually write a book, but few can pull it off. To do so is an amazing achievement that is not to be taken lightly.

To go so far as to make the thing this entertaining … well, that’s a whole other level of achievement that is to be respected and appreciated.

Peter is a remarkable man. He has a unique talent. I think you’ll enjoy reading his work. I certainly did.
