About the Author

Penny E. Damron lives in a small town in Ohio with her husband, Michael, and their two dogs, Muffin and Miss Macee Wigglebottom. She is the mother of two children, Jenna and Derek, who are now grown and married. Her love for her children and their love for dogs inspired this story, which was written for them when they were very young. It was read often to them at night before bed.

Penny�s love and ability for writing poems, which also helped inspire this story, was inherited from her Grandma Emma.
