About the Author

Lorraine is a retired Primary Teacher. In her time teaching young children to acquire reading and writing skills many books were produced by the children from their own experiences. The joy the children found in writing and reading their own literature was immeasurable. Reading has been a lifelong pleasure and in retirement Lorraine has the time pursue writing and publishing her own books.
Lorraine has pursued many creative interests over the years and found much joy in teaching children in all areas of the Arts curriculum. Being retired she now has time to pursue her own talents through mixed media art. The illustration in the book are the result of a new found interest in printing and painting.
