About the Author

Lawrence Wayne is a writer and a musician. He grew up in Pensacola , Florida and holds a degree in English from the University of West Florida. He was a Field Artillery Captain in the US Army during the Vietnam era during the 70s and stationed in Germany. His family’s roots are in Northwest Florida and this novel is based on a true story his father told him on his deathbed. This is his 2nd novel. He is married and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He lives in Savannah, Georgia.
