John Tiech, the author of Pittsburgh Film History: On Set in the Steel City, serves as the cofounder and historian of the Greater Pittsburgh Entertainment Museum. He also presides as the administrator of the Hometown Hollywood Facebook page, a nonprofit community page devoted to educating the public about Pittsburgh cinema as well as providing a source for networking and news. Photographs for this book come from the author, Pittsburgh Moving Picture Bulletin, Moving Picture World, the Fred Rogers Company, and various private collections.
