About the Author

E.R. Cook grew up in the wide fields of Iowa where she spent her days reading and exploring the countryside. As a young child she developed a life-long love affair with books, mostly fantasy and science fiction. In elementary school, she wrote and illustrated her first fiction book about bugs and how they saw the world. This foray into writing sparked a life-long dream to publish her own works and become a writer.
She has held many jobs throughout her lifetime, from working the front desk at a police department as a Police Services Representative to going back to school at the age of 36 and receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications to becoming a Technical Writer for a motorsports distribution company. However, her love of writing and creative personality never stopped dreaming, and at the age of 40 finally saw the realization of her dream with the publication of her first novel “Planetary Feedlot”.
When she’s not writing she’s having fun with her boyfriend riding trials motorcycles. She also loves riding horses and exploring her creative outlets of painting and pottery.
