Playing with Media: simple ideas for powerful sharing
We need to play with media to become more effective communicators. As children, we learn to progressively make sense of our confusing world through play. The same dynamics apply to us as adults communicating with new and different media forms. The goal of this book is to inspire and empower you, as a creative person, to expand your personal senses of digital literacy and digital agency as a multimedia communicator. As you learn to play with digital text, images, audio and video, you will learn to more creatively and flexibly communicate with a wider menu of media. While this book is written primarily for educators, anyone is welcome as a reader who is interested in learning how to more flexibly, creatively, and effectively communicate with media in our digital age. Copyright, fair use, and intellectual property guidelines for media creators are also addressed.
