Overview

Humanity in 2101 resembles little of the real and physical life we know today. This POD introductory release, brings us two young men, Jordie and Aaron, who during chance encounters set on a path together, questioning and trying to right what appears to them as inhumane.

This story is meant to challenge our feelings about what we as humans may look forward to or are willing to accept in terms of the outer reaches of mans technology quest.

Michael dreamt the concept for POD while in the tech toy business. It seemed that living in a mindset of innovating, one
could get lost in the far reaches of what technology could potentially do in the future...beyond toys and video games.

About the Author

Michael is a forward thinker, creator, and inventor. Launching his consumer products start-up, he invented several successful products over a span of 15 years. He created new categories for retail and has been awarded multiple patents and trademarks in the tech, toy, and children’s publishing markets. Operating in such consumer markets kept him thinking about the long-term effects of certain technologies. He has developed an intuitive sense of what the future may hold and likes to say, “A good science fiction story always comes to fruition.”
Michael spends some of his time consulting with and advising start-ups and mature businesses needing innovation/renovation. He maintains relationships globally in the retail, distribution, manufacturing, and licensing community and carries a comprehensive understanding of marketing, sales, operations, finance, and distribution. He also lends his time to local community economic development initiatives. Michael has been on CNN and ABC News and quoted in many trade journals. His products have been featured on QVC, HGTV, CNN, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, and many other media outlets. Several inventions have been advertised in 20+ global markets. At the moment, besides writing, he spends much of his time on his farm in Hawaii with his wife of 35 years. He also enjoys visiting with his two adult children and three grandchildren on the mainland.
