Poems of a Certain Darkness: Pain & Healing
"Welcome to the Redemption chapters I wrote for myself, for us.
They are irreverent, edged in a hell-fire that I drug up from the crowded pits of hades with my gosh-darn bare hands.
Welcome to Pain & Healing."

About the Author

C. Browning lives in Wisconsin with her four children, one of whom is no longer on this earth the way we are, but instead resides in the hearts of many.

Joanna left behind many, including three joyful, exuberant siblings who enjoy things like books, walks, rocks, dirt, sunshine, lake days, arts & crafts, pokemon, dogs, and the occasional sibling squabble (okay, way more than “occasional”). Joanna’s mother, who wrote these poems, enjoys a minimum of three cups of coffee with her sunrises, crocheting dishrags, and the way all libraries smell.
She cannot garden to save anyone’s life, but her mother can. (Can you spot the dark humor?)
She writes because that is the universe in which everything makes the most sense.
