Professor Dan Banik is Research Director at the Centre for Development and the Environment, University of Oslo, Norway, Adjunct Professor at China Agricultural University (Beijing) and Consulting Scholar at Stanford University, USA.

Professor Blessings Chinsinga is Deputy Director of the Centre for Social Research and Professor at the Department of Political and Administrative Studies at Chancellor College, University of Malawi. He is one of foremost political thinkers in Malawi and a popular media commentator.
