Overview

A western fantasy SHORT STORY, "Pony Up" features Henry, an orphaned teenage boy who hires on the with new Pony Express. Henry's first delivery unexpectedly turns out to be Lincoln's First Inaugural Address. Will he and Mazie, his Pegasus pony, rise to the occasion? About the Author

Linda A. B. Davis dodges hurricanes and swats mosquitos in the panhandle of Florida with her husband and daughter. They are all graciously tolerated by three dogs and three cats, the power of three doing its best to even things out.

Ms. Davis' fiction can be found in two DAW Books anthologies and other various print and electronic publications. She holds a Master's degree in print journalism but has switched over to writing fiction as it is her love. She also volunteers as Managing Editor at AnthologyBuilder.
