About the Author

Cary Rosenthal is a registered civil mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. As a member of the mediation staff for the Magistrate Court of Cobb County, Georgia, he has conducted more than 350 mediation conferences. Additionally, Rosenthal has served the Georgia Bar Association as a non-attorney fee arbitrator and has heard more than 250 cases.
A retired printing, publishing and advertising entrepreneur, Rosenthal has been a party to numerous contracts ranging from corporate acquisitions, purchases and sales of commercial and residential real estate, employment contracts as an employer and employee, and contracts for the purchases and sales of goods and services.
Among his leadership positions for the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia, Cary chaired the legal committee, which served as a liaison with the attorneys retained by the organization. He later served the PIAG as Chairman of the Board.
During the formative years of his synagogue, he drafted its first formal set of by-laws and later served as President.
Over the entire twenty-year span of ownership, his companies had never been sued. The minimal amounts of lawsuits filed by his companies were mainly in pursuit of non-payment for services rendered.
