But even his enemies don't know the real reason they should fear him...
That they should fear what he's becoming...
Because the Serpent God soon plans to claim Honryn as his new mortal host and Verdria as his consort.
Once he does, no one will ever be safe again.
But Verdria's greatest nemesis is her own traitorous heart...
