He has published and lectured widely on IP,IT and data protection, security and privacy law issues. Mr. Waleski receivedhis J.D. from Rutgers University, where he was a member of the Law Review andMoot Court Board, and his B.A. from Fordham University. He is admitted topractice law in the states of New York and New Jersey as well as in the federalcourts of those states.
Blaze D. Waleski is special counsel with Sullivan&Cromwell LLP in its New York office and administers the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice. He focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) and Information Technology (IT) law, including data protection, security and privacy issues, and has assisted numerous companies in a wide variety of technology-related matters. These include IP and data transfers in mergers and acquisitions, information management and regulatory compliance, and IP, IT and data licensing.
