About the Author

Prof. Ulrich T. Egle is Chair of the Interdisciplinary Association for Psychosomatic Pain Therapy. He was awarded the HEIGL Prize in 2016 for his research in the field of psychosomatic pain therapy and for the development of an effective therapeutic approach in stress-induced pain disturbances. Dr. Burkhard Zentgraf is Chief Physician in the Kinzigtal Psychosomatic Clinic in Gengenbach, where he heads the pain department.
