About the Author

Dr. Joyce Geneva Moore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. and Ida Bond Moore. She is the ninth grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lemuel and Alice Pinkney Moore's more than 50 grandchildren. Joyce was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Brandywine, Prince George's County, Maryland. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age.

Attending church and going to college were not an option for her and her two siblings. Joyce's parents, Joseph and Ida Moore, and her grandparents, Peter and Alice Moore were very loving and supportive. They attended all of her graduations from elementary and high schools in Maryland, to Fisk University and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Joyce Geneva Moore, M.D., was a commissioned officer (Captain) of the U.S. Public Health Service (1974-1975) while participating in a rotating internship. She received an honorable discharge as Senior Assistant Surgeon. She is licensed in medicine and surgery. She completed a residency in Radiology (1975-1978) at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center in New York. She is a Diplomat, The American Board of Radiology.

In 1978, Dr. Joyce Moore moved to Kansas and worked as a civilian Diagnostic Radiologist for the Department of Veterans Administration after being in private practice for a year. She received a Certificate of Retirement from the Department of Veterans Administration for her faithful services of 30 years. While working at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas, she wrote numerous medical articles that were published in the National Medical Association (NMA) Journal, Kansas Medical Society Journal and The Applied Radiology Journal.

Dr. Joyce Moore is the founder and president of Institute of Medical Imaging Procedures (IMIP), LLC. In 2012, she presented her business newly created Intellectual Property, Stroke 911: Awareness and Pre-vention on several Health Radio Talk Shows in Kansas City, Missouri, and on a tour in China. Her Stroke 911 DVD and booklets are in the United States Patent and Trademark Office of the Library of Congress. She is the author of the books, “Purple MIND Peace and Rest”, and “Purple MIND Shield of Protection.” Joyce did not deliver her own message in the books, but she faithfully transmitted the message given to her by God.
