The name Santresa means Shining Star!

Santresa Rolonda Weldon was born February 22, 1980, to Lawrence and Joyce Thomie Weldon of Warner Robins, GA. She is the eldest of four children Tiffany, Victoria and Duriel. She Attended the Houston County School System graduating from Houston County High School in June 1998. After Graduating she attended Middle Georgia Technical College, now known as Central Georgia Technical College, in the field of Cosmetology where she graduated with honors and perfect attendance in May of 2000. She received her Georgia cosmetology license in the December 2000. She also received she California cosmetology license in October of 2002. She traveled the world as a hair stylist, styling hair from as far as Europe, California and back to Georgia. November 2012 her hair and makeup was featured on Say Yes to The Dress Bridesmaids Edition. Furthering her education in March of 2013 she received a certificate In Non-surgical Hair Replacement and is a Hair Loss Specialist. Has experienced alopecia firsthand. In August 2014, she became a technical consultant for Avlon Industries Inc. where she educated stylist and cosmetology students on their products. In 2015 She became the owner and stylist of Santresa’s Beauty. In March 2018 she became an American Board-Certified Hair colorist. She is one of the few African Americans in her field. In February 2019 she also taught her own class at the Bronner Brothers International hair show in New Orleans called “Keeping the gray”. In June 2020 she received her doctoral degree in Professional Cosmetology from Miracle University Inc. December 20, 2021, she received her Trichology certification.
She gives back to the community by teaching a quarterly Dress for Success class on healthy hair, skin and nails at the Warner Robins Housing Authority and the Diamonds and Pearls mentor group.
Santresa loves her job, but also enjoys singing; dancing, praising the Lord and helping others achieve their best.
During the pandemic Santresa assisted over 100 entrepreneurs with processing unemployment, applying for PPP, EDIL grants and loans. She is a member of the Cosmetology Advisory Board for Central GA Tech; she is a Board-Certified Hair Colorist as of 2021.
She is a breast cancer and domestic violence survivor.
